Pakistani Cabinet has proved to be more intense and dramatic than a fully realized Netflix drama or series. Where the Pakistani nation was too invested in the power show going on in the cabinet, it was outright entertaining for the worldwide media.

The series of events started when the opposition lined up to get Imran Khan off the seat of the Prime Minister. A no-confidence motion was started to overthrow the the-then government. Allegations were placed on Imran Khan. Some people dreaded that the no-confidence motion would succeed. However, in a surprising turn of events, Imran Khan pulled something straight out of his hat. The no-confidence motion was considered illegal. Some of us were celebrating, based on what had happened. Meanwhile, memes flooded the social media platforms.

But of course, this is Pakistani politics. Things change capriciously. A day after the PTI supporters had celebrated, the no-confidence motion was restored and the decision was taken. Imran Khan was dethroned much to the nation’s chagrin. Members couldn’t stay away from their duty like always. Memes flooded once more on social media.

The trend, امپورٹڈ حکومت نامنظور became one of the top fads on the microblogging website. Imran Khan became the first president to be removed through a no-confidence motion in the history of Pakistan. Nationwide protests are occurring now where many people claim that Imran Khan’s removal from the seat is unfair. Protests are also happening on an international level including in Paris, London, and Spain. Memes were made once more based on the precarious situation of the Pakistani Cabinet.
