The news of Johnny Depp suing his wife Amber Heard is making rounds on the media. The ongoing defamation lawsuit is gaining popularity every day and has the fans hooked in anticipation for any new update. The case will probably take weeks to conclude. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are both accusing each other of domestic violence.
The defamation trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard is all the news these days however, the public are deeply confused. Amber Heard has accused Johnny Depp of being a self-described “monster”, hitting her repeatedly during jealous drug-induced rages, breaking furniture etc while Johnny Depp testified that he never struck Heard, and that, in fact, he was the victim of abuse, and was punched and struck by his wife on many occasions. He also described Heard to the jury as having a “need for conflict.”
While there’s compelling evidence that there was violence on both sides of this marriage, it’s not quite so clear whether who will win the trial but it looks as though the loudest voices on the internet have overwhelmingly sided with Depp.
So far it is to conclude that Johnny Depp and his lawyers have argued, and a judge has agreed, that Heard is clearly implying that Depp abused her over the course of their year-long marriage. There is compelling evidence that Depp acted violently towards Heard and vice versa.
Heard submitted witness testimony; contemporaneous text messages, emails, and diary entries; and photographs of her bruises. Taken together, they demonstrated a clear pattern of abuse, most often when Depp was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Depp has also made audio recordings of conversations public that he had with Heard over the course of their relationship which implies mockery, hate speech and abuse.
In this case, both Depp and Heard claim that they are being falsely smeared as an abuser by the true abuser. However, it’s obvious that Johnny Depp is still a star, and he’s still capable of commanding the nation’s attention whether he wins this trial or not.
