In the letter, they also mentioned that there will be some measures in place to prevent the virus from spreading, but overall things seem to be going in the right direction ahead.

Recently, we have had some great news regarding two countries – Pakistan and China. These two countries have stood by each other, and are friends. And because of this – we have had some great development in Pakistan. CPEC is one example of that. And now, we have heard some great news as well – following the treaty signed in 2013, China will be opening the Khunjerab Pass.

Due to the coronavirus, in the last two years, most of the borders were closed. But Pakistani officials revealed that China had sent them a letter informing them that they are planning on reopening the Khunjerab border, starting from April 1st. In the letter, they also mentioned that there will be some measures in place to prevent the virus from spreading, but overall things seem to be going in the right direction ahead.

People of both the countries will be able to see the beauties that lie ahead, and the areas surrounding the border and serene as well. It boosts the chances for further friendship between the people and gives people something to look forward to – on both sides.

This shows the confidence that China has in Pakistan, and the efforts that the former country is putting in to ensure the bounds of friendship prosper and to increase tourist attraction on both sides. And another example of the friendship between the countries is the fact that China BYD is looking into Pakistan.

A Chinese Electric and Hybrid car company is known as the BYD are interested in manufacturing cars in Pakistan. Senior executives at BYD informed Pakistan’s ambassador to China – Moin Ul Haq that the company is interested in setting up a manufacturing unit in Pakistan. The meeting was about discussing the potential of the investment landscape of Pakistan.

The idea that companies such as BYD are looking to set up a unit in Pakistan speaks greatly on the level of interest that China has in the formation and development of Pakistan. And the credit for all of this goes to the government of Pakistan which is always looking for ways to enhance the development of Pakistan and to provide the people of Pakistan with job opportunities, and other mediums through which the country will flourish.

We hope that an agreement regarding this can forward and that Pakistan can reach the heights that it was always supposed to reach – that Pakistan can be the great nation that Quaid-e-Azam envisioned it to be.
