PSL 7 ki shuruat Dhamakay daar andaaz mein hui hai. We are so excited to see our stars in action performing tremendously. Ramiz Raja requested our beloved PM Imran Khan to open PSL 7 in a video. The much-awaited PSL 7 is in action with all its glory and enthusiasm.

Snippets that were shot at different places were shared in the form of a short film. According to the sources, the opening ceremony cost Rs 25 million.

Multan Sultans sail smoothly in the first clash against Karachi Kings

The first clash of season 7 was between PSL 6 winners Karachi King led by National skipper Babar Azam and Multan Sultans led by Muhammad Rizwan. Karachi Kings made 124 runs for the loss of 5 wickets which was an easy chase for Multan Sultans. Multan Sultans won by 7 wickets marking their place in PSL 7. Some of the star performances of this match are:

  • Muhammad Rizwan scored 52 runs not out, which helped Multan Sultan to win.
  • Imran Tahir was the star for Multan Sultans as he took 3-16 wickets.

Karachi Kings were unable to make their mark as the Multan Sultan bowlers did not let the dust settle for their batters.

Peshawa Zalimi’s dramatic comeback for win against Quetta Gladiators

A nail-biting match that had so many twists and turns, as both teams fought to a close match.  Quetta Gladiators were led by Sarfaraz Ahmed. They made a hefty total of 190/4. It looked unmanageable as the Zalmi openers lost their wickets early on.

  • QG: William Smeed (97) and Ahsan Ali (73)’s opening partnership of 155 took Quetta to a winning total. Qadir took 2 wickets for 20 runs.
  • Zalmi: Zalmi made a dramatic comeback when their captain Shoaib Malik(48) took the charge alongside Hussain Talat(52) to lead Zalmi to a win by 5 wickets. Nawaz took 3 wickets for 44 runs.
