    Farewell Andrew Symonds (1975-2020)

    He was born in Birmingham, but he did not play for England. He got selected in 1998 for Australia. The Australian Team is lucky enough to have legendary players in all formats. He was an ultimate all-rounder, a fearsome striker of a cricket ball, and a great fielder. He played for Australia from 1998 to 2009. He played 26 tests and 198 ODIs. He was two time World Cup winner in 2003 and 2007. He was also a key member of the test side.

    Pakistan has been improving its ranking over the past 1 year. In the latest ranking shared by ICC, Pakistan has replaced England in ODIs. Pakistan with 93 points has taken away England’s spot which has 88 points at the moment. It has retained its position at number 5 in Test rankings as well.

    Pakistan Junior League Schedule Released

    PCB has recently launched the Pathway Cricket Programme, of which the Junior League is a part. In this, PCB and its strategic partners which include BRB Group and Engro Corporation have agreed to provide the best facilities to the chosen 100 players. I will give them Rs. 30,000 as a monthly stipend along with free cricket equipment, coaches, and world-class institutions.

    Shahid Afridi Launches T10 Mega Star League

    According to Shahid Afridi, international players will also be part of this tournament. “Mega Star League is an entertaining league, which is scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi this year. The idea behind introducing this league is to financially support the ex-cricketers, athletes, and sports journalists. The MSL will feature six teams, and foreign players will also take part in the upcoming league.”

    Pakistan Cricket Board Revives Domestic Cricket

    Ehsan Mazari, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Communication, said that they will revive the departmental cricket system. It will accommodate the players and officials as the regional cricket had limited the employment opportunities. Abandoning domestic cricket was met with criticism as many players, coaches, and even ground staff lost their jobs within their respective departments and clubs.

He scored a magnificent double-century (239), in his class debut against Sussex. This is the highest score by a Pakistani Batter in county cricket.

    Maiden T20 Won By Australia – A Farewell Gift

    From Pakistan, only Babar could make 66. Nathan Ellis took 4 wickets for 28 runs along with Cameron Green, who took 2 wickets for 16 runs. The Australian side was also not very stable as they had to lose 7 wickets to reach the target of 162. Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir, and Muhammad Wasim took 2 wickets each.
