Paris is set to host the final of the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool. The stage is set for the 28th of May (Paris, 9 pm) and the 29th of May (12 am PST) for the mega clash. This is a repeat of the 2018 UCL final when these two teams met, where the Spanish giants lifted the trophy. Liverpool star striker and his club have a golden opportunity to take revenge on Los Blancos. Real Madrid is coming to the final after a dramatic and interesting comeback win against the tournament favorites Manchester City. While Liverpool beat Villa Real in the semi-final.
Real Madrid has already won the La Liga and Liverpool is battling it tough with Man City for the premier league title. Madrid will rest their key players and make the team ready for the final. Two contenders for Ballon D’or Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane will face each other in this year’s final. Though Karim seems to be the stronger contender the won the best player of the year award.
After Jurgen Klopp has taken over Liverpool, the club emerged as one of the best clubs in the world. Their performances in Premier League and in Europe are truly exceptional this season. Liverpool was one of the favorites to win the UCL title this season. Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti has come a long way to reach the final, comebacks against PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City have stunned the whole of Europe. Pundits never considered the Spanish side to reach the final of the champions league. But it’s getting very difficult for the experts to choose one team to lift the trophy in this final.

Both teams are defensively and offensively very strong. Van Dijk being one of the strong defenders will face Vini Jr and Benzema, which will be a great battle to watch. Both teams are European experts. The match is expected to be very open, fast, and intense. Both teams have quick attacking players to break quickly on-the-counter attacks. It will be a test of fitness and physical strength. Real Madrid has the advantage of winning the league already, which will allow their players to rest and prepare for the all-important final.
An interesting fact about this final is that these teams met in UCL Final in Paris in 1981, where Real Madrid lost to Liverpool. The stage is again Paris. Liverpool supporters will consider this to support their team and to believe that their team can win the final. It will not be easy though to beat the comeback kings. throughout the season Real Madrid has made lots of comebacks to win the Spanish League and qualify to make it to the UCL final.

Where Los Blancos will battle to regain their European pride and The Reds will be up to take revenge for 2018 final. Both teams have made it all the way to the final of this year’s most prestigious club competition. Indeed, it will be a great match to witness.
