The level we set especially the Karachites, no one can dare to beat it. Millions have tried and failed but none could ever beat us in this domain. Recently, Texas tried to take the precedent but ended up securing the second position. Texas followed the suite and became the second worst state to live in.
No one gives a cent about the second one, Texas is like the middle child in a desi family, its achievement…….. never mind. We all are well aware which country leads in this area. The supremacy is unparalleled, even the developed world wouldn’t dare to cross paths with the leading one.
The economist labelled Karachi the worst country to live in and we don’t know whether to be proud (we are leading) or should feel ashamed (too many flaws). Anyhow, let’s not make it too complicated as a wise person once said former sounds better than the latter. Let’s observe a two min silence on this achievement and move on.
The news is, Texas has become the second worst country to live in (time to break the silence). Yes! Seems like we have a competition. But why a developed state is given this title? Given that Texas is in the United States, shouldn’t it have a better law and order, healthcare and other facilities, democracy, and many similar adjectives that the US associates itself with.
CNBC’s annual “Top States for Business” study 2022 version ranked Texas as the second worst state to live in the country. According to the study “skilled workers are still flocking to the state despite longstanding quality of life issues…. But when they arrived, they are finding limited childcare options, a stressed health care system with the highest rate of uninsured, new curbs on voting rights, and few protections against discrimination.”
A developed country like the US is unable to provide a better standard of living to one of its states makes us all speechless. So, even if Karachi is considered worst country to live in then it’s no biggie because more advanced and well equipped countries are eyeing for the top position.
