Pakistan launches online portal for attestation

The launch of the online attestation portal was stated to eliminate the requirement for students to attend IBCC offices.

Rana Tanveer Hussain, minister of education and professional training, stated that innovation and revolution in the educational system are necessary for growth and stability. Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of student facilitation centre and online attestation portal at the Secretariat of Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), the minister said that ladder of development of nations is education, “despite the economic situation of the country, education is the first priority of the government,” he said.

According to the statement, students can obtain a verification slip from the aforementioned kiosk after paying a charge, eliminating the need for them to travel to board offices for document verification.

In the past, students were required to obtain their documentation validated by the board and then deliver the documentation to IBCC in a sealed envelope.

An official statement claims that the facilitation centre of the IBCC is furnished with contemporary amenities. The launch of the online attestation portal was stated to eliminate the requirement for students to attend IBCC offices.

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) established a self-service kiosk at the IBCC facilitation centre in the meantime, which helps FBISE students who are having their diplomas attested by IBCC. The minister also made this machine official.

Secretary IBCC Dr Ghulam Ali Malah said that educated youth will lead Pakistan on the path of development, most of the country’s population is youth who have the right to be educated.
