Who doesn’t like daal chawal? I think after biryani, this is one of the favorite food that everyone agrees to no matter what the time is. If you live abroad, you might be missing Daal Chawal. But sadly, when PIA served it, the passengers did not like it. Does that mean they weren’t tasty enough or tempting as our moms made them? We need to investigate this matter.
Passengers complained about serving Daal Chawal by PIA for an international flight. The flight was going to Saudi Arabia. The complaint was as the passengers were not served meat, which made them sad. Because of this, there was a heated exchange, and some passengers refused to eat. The crew tried to calm them down, as they had no other options to serve. The complaint was registered when the flight landed at the Jeddah Airport.
When PIA was contacted in this regard, the spokesperson apologized and confirmed the incident. He said that this was because of a shortage of items from the vendors and they were trying to work out the alternates. They are trying to get back to their normal routine.
It is okay if they are short of meat. They can contact moms who make delicious Dal Chawal. We are sure the passengers will like that flavored and garnished with mom’s love.
