If you’re a Coke Studio fan like us, we have good news for you. The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service, Spotify, has joined forces with the sound of the nation, Coke Studio. Under this partnership, Spotify is now the official music streaming partner for Coke Studio Pakistan this year. Are you as excited as we are?

Coke Studio

Spotify will launch an official “Coke Studio Pakistan” channel on its app. Along with the much-awaited new season of Coke Studio, Spotify will host all the songs and artists previously featured. Starting today, Spotify will be home to an immersive musical experience celebrating Season 14 of Coke Studio Pakistan coupled with all previous seasons.

Coke Studio is a household name across Pakistan and has cultivated a love for different genres at a regional level year after year. Season 14 will feature Pakistani culture synced with Gen-Z, showing the world what the music industry of Pakistan is capable of. The mashup of Gen-Z soloists and grandmasters is increasing the anticipation of fans. This year’s reboot also embraces the bond between music, aesthetics, and attitude.

New Coke Studio Line up

The upcoming season 14 of Coke Studio boosts a new vibe. There are maestros such as Abida Parveen, Naseebo Lal and Faisal Kapadia. Pop sensations Atif Aslam, Ali Sethi, and the incandescent Meesha Shafi, Momina Mustehsan, and Quratulain Balouch are also part of this year’s most anticipated season. Alongside formerly-indie-now-Grammy-nominated Arooj Aftab and socials-big artists like Hasan Raheem, Kaifi Khalil, and Shae Gill – seriously talented performers on the cusp of blowing up.

There are also risky cross-overs like Young Stunners in a ballad and metal overlaid by Faris Shafi. Dynamic performers such as Soch, Asfar Hussain, Lahore Jazz Ensemble, Zain-Zohaib, Karakoram, Eva B, Abdul Wahab Bugti, and Ameer Buksh, Butt Brothers, and Justin Bibis round out the roster. It’s all held together by visionary collaborators like Abdullah Siddiqui, ActionZain, Talal Qureshi, Adnan Dhool, Arsalan Hasan, and Rovio. Fusing them all was the masterstroke of Xulfi and Coke Studio.

This is the era of Pakistan’s self-actualization, and as Pakistan’s biggest cultural export, Coke Studio knows it. We are super excited and can’t hold our breath much longer. Coke Studio season 14 is set to be on air on the 14th of January.
