There is just something about funny guys that pulls you. The feeling is unexplainable, and you can’t help but want to talk to them. It is just the vibe that they have. But do you ever think about the responsibilities that the people who are ‘funny’ have?
We all love it when we have a funny colleague or teammate. They generally keep us entertained with the content that they bring. But do you ever sit down and wonder at what cost do they keep us entertained? When it comes to being funny and keeping everyone entertained – it is not an easy task. Most people who are funny use this method as a coping mechanism.
It has to do with the psychology of a person. People have different methods of coping with things, and funny people generally tend to mask their sadness and the difficulties in their own life with humor and jokes. In doing so, the other people – who are at the receiving end of the jokes and fun part think that the other person is just always happy.
We all tend not to emphasize with others, and this is our biggest shortcoming. It renders us to at times, neglects the emotions of others. When it comes to being funny and having a sense of humor; this ability is generally credited to boys more. There are times girls are funny as well but that rarely ever is the case. The reason behind this is simple.
Girls are sensitive, and at times goes through a range of emotions in a day. If they are happy and in a fun mood, then all is well but if their mood deviates from these two mentioned states then, well, they won’t be fun. Also, girls can take any word or sentence literally and it can spoil their days.
Boys in this sense are different. They know what is required in each situation, and thus act accordingly. If the entire room is tense, then they will put their own emotions aside and help others – crack a joke and brighten up the environment.
However, it is these boys that are the most misunderstood. Especially when it comes to their love lives. Girls love funny boys, those who can crack a joke and make them laugh. When the relationship goes long-term, it is those same girls, who at first loved the jokes, have a problem with this joking nature of the boys.
If a guy cracks a joke to lighten the environment, then the girl will have a problem later in life because everything for that guy is always funny, and he does not take things seriously.
We want to ask girls – Kahan jaien larkay? Kya karien woh? Who bhi tou insaan hain, tou kyun nahien samjhtay unhien hum insaan?
