Shadab made his international career debut against West Indies in March 2017. He was also added to the Test Match squad against West Indies the following month. Shadab became the Vice-Captain for Pakistan Men’s T20i in September 2021.

Shadab Khan, the Vice-Captain for the National Pakistani Cricket team, held a Q/A session with his fans on Twitter last night, and fans love it. He is a very active member of Twitter and never fails to tweet about all the important days. Even if the team loses or wins, Shadab posts on Twitter with a motivational message.

Shadab’s favorite sports is football, and his favorite club is Real Madrid, and he loves to travel to New Zealand. His favorite film is Atif Aslam’s and Mahira Khan starrer – Bol. With Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as his favorite singer.

His passion and dedication for Cricket know no bounds. In an interview, his team members said that in a domestic tournament in Lahore, all the team members would go sightseeing after the match. In contrast, Shadab would go to bed early to wake up the next morning for practice.

While playing in the U-19, he realized that his dream of representing his country internationally could come true, so when he joined the pre-season training camp at National Cricket Academy NCA, he said, ‘I have played a good number of white-ball matches and just five tests. Therefore, I need to improve my bowling and batting to cement my place in test cricket too, as a useful all-rounder.’

‘It has been an incredible journey so far. From making my international debut against the West Indies to becoming a member of the Champions Trophy-winning squad has been a wonderful experience, and all I can do is thank the almighty for his blessings. This is just the beginning of my career, and I am focused on improving myself every time I play. Hopefully, the results of the improvement will be visible in the future.
