Samsung and other companies that compete with Apple have been trying for a while to get people to buy foldable phones and computers. Even though this is a small market, it is said that Apple has been trying out this idea on its own. We don’t know when or if Apple will make a Foldable iPhone and iPad, but read on to find out what we know so far.
There are rumors that the Cupertino Company is making samples of a foldable iPhone and iPad. However, these devices are still a long way from being released. Analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Ross Young said that Apple’s first folding product won’t come out until 2025 “at the earliest.” At this point, we don’t know much about these gadgets.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, on the other hand, said that Apple’s foldable iPhone would be much bigger and might not even be an iPhone. Instead, Kuo said that a whole new class of gadgets with a 7.5- to 8-inch screen would blur the line between the iPhone and the iPad. Kuo, unlike Prosser, doesn’t say that he has seen any of these devices.
This isn’t a surprise because Apple has been taking a more cautious approach in recent years. Apple sends a lot of devices every year, so releasing a folding phone at this point would probably cause a lot of supply problems, since this technology is still limited and more expensive.
On the other hand, Google has beaten Apple to foldable phones. Google revealed its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, during its Developers I/O conference in California on May 10th 2023. The Pixel Fold is priced at $2,189. At over PKR 630,000, the Pixel Fold is the most expensive foldable smartphone, surpassing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, which costs $2000 or PKR 576,000. The Google Pixel Fold, like other foldable gadgets, can be unfolded into a tablet or closed into a smartphone. It features a 7.6-inch screen. According to pictures, Google gave the Pixel Fold a basic UI like all other Pixel smartphones, yet with the iconic Pixel look.
