Nooh Dastagir Receives Honaray Position In Customs Department

Mukarram Jah of FBR Member Customs Operations pinned the weightlifter’s badges for Assistant Collector. Additionally, Jah promised to stand behind the weightlifter at the forthcoming Asian Games.

At a ceremony conducted at Customs House in Lahore on Tuesday, Nooh Dastgir Butt, who won gold at the Commonwealth Games, was appointed by Pakistan Customs as a Goodwill Ambassador and given the honorary title of Assistant Collector.

As a reward for his performance at the Commonwealth Games 2022, when he broke the record by lifting a total weight of 405kg, the record-holder has been designated the Customs Ambassador.

Butt expressed appreciation for the award to Customs. He said that he hoped to perform well at the Asian Games and that he would keep up his efforts to win an Olympic gold medal as well.
