Ansha Afridi, the daughter of former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi, is marrying the 22-year-old player. The couple’s nikkah ceremony will take place in the port city on February 3, 2023 (Friday). The star bowler is said to have arrived in Karachi with his family to finalise arrangements.

Two years ago, the fast runner proposed to Ansha. According to sources close to the families, the Mehendi ceremony will take place in the metropolitan city. According to reports, the wedding will be held in accordance with Afridi tribal traditions.

During an interview on “Aik Din Geo Kai Sath” on Geo News, the left-handed batsman revealed that it was his wish to marry Afridi’s daughter. Afridi said, “It was my wish, and Alhumdulillah it is fulfilled no.”

Pakistan’s pace sensation is about to embark on a new chapter in his life as the Pakistan Super League Season 8 approaches. Afridi, who is currently regarded as one of the best pacers in the world, shot to prominence with a match against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Afridi isn’t the only Pakistani cricketer who has begun a new chapter in his life; other Pakistani sportsmen have also married. Haris Rauf married his classmate Muzna Masood Malik in December of last year, and opening batter Shan Masood married Nische Khan on January 20, 2023.
