Indian Players Now Welcome In Pakistan

Cricket runs in the blood of all Indians, and Pakistanis. The spectrum of emotion that an average household in both India and Pakistan goes through, in times of any cricket tournament, is bigger than most men express in their lifetime.

The ties between India and Pakistan are complicated, to say the least. Keeping the governments aside, the people have a love and hate relationship with each other, but there is one thing that we have in common and it is cricket. Period. Both these countries are great at it, with exceptional players, and just recently, Pakistan has announced that Indian players are welcome in Pakistan! Yayyyyyyy

Cricket runs in the blood of all Indians, and Pakistanis. The spectrum of emotion that an average household in both India and Pakistan goes through, in times of any cricket tournament, is bigger than most men express in their lifetime. Yes, you read it right.

When it comes to Cricket, we think that we should all keep our differences asides, and appreciate the players for their talent. No one can deny the amazing Captain MS Dhoni was, that rising star Shaheen Afridi is now, or the true sportsman Misbah-ul-Haq was.

In the spirit of that, we are very happy with Pakistan’s decision to allow Indian players to come to Pakistan and play.

Geetanjali Angati accompanied by her father Srinivas Rao and Evaan Luthra crossed the border in the name of sports and received such a warm welcome from the people. i Srinivas Rao told in an interview.

”Yet, the welcome was beyond my expectations. I am happy to see such a lovely place and nice people. Pakistanis are always ready to extend help to visitors. We are enjoying every bit of our stay here. We are not alone but other players from European countries have the same feeling,” he said.

Even his daughter Geetanjali was excited to travel to Pakistan. “We never thought that this country is so beautiful and the people are so nice. Though I lost my singles earlier, I utilized the weather and trained hard for the next event.” Both backed Pakistan and India’s resumption of sporting ties.

“When India plays Pakistan, it always creates added interest. It is not only in cricket or hockey alone, in other sports also both countries’ competitions have a special attraction.”

This just shows the true beauty of the people of Pakistan. If anyone has any doubts about the humble hosts that we are, they are more than welcome to visit our beautiful homeland or ask the people who have seen firsthand the inner beauty of this country and its people. Pakistan Zindabad!
