This is 21st century and everyone is trying to explore career options besides medicine and engineering. One such profession that is taking over the scenes is graphic designing. Even if you are a doctor, people would come to you and advise to do a side course in graphic designing because ‘bohat scope hai’. Sorry to break it to you but not everyone could be a skilled graphic designer. And just because you are not a good graphic designer, people might disown you one day. So, if you think, you could be great graphic designer, now is the time to shrug off all these Satanist thoughts. Shaitan will manipulate you into taking the graphic designing course, you just have to THINK before giving into these thoughts. Recently, a bride-to-be friend broke up with her graphic designer best friend and we can’t help but think why?
The story of the disastrous wedding invitations starts with the bride-to-be asking her best friend, who is studying graphic designer to design her wedding invitations. The beginning of the story itself is flawed. Lesson for life, you never trust your friends with big responsibilities. And if you do, you are doomed for life. Just like the protagonist in this story. The bride made the biggest mistake of her life by asking her friend for a favor.
Although, the wedding card was not all that bad. As simple and minimalistic weddings are trendy these days, the graphic designer friend followed the trend and designed the simplest wedding invitation. The invitation card was shared on Reddit with a caption “Bride asked a friend of hers who was studying graphic design to design her invites. This looks like Times New Roman [font] on a snowflake background!”
Seems like the bride didn’t want to be trendy and expressed disappointment over how the invitation cards came out. The bride said “My mother (who is not good with computers) ended up designing much better invites on some wedding website herself.”
The simplicity of the invitation card was not received with praise. The reddit users appreciated the efforts in their own away. One comment said “As a graphic designer (10 years by now) this looks like some of my old classmates’ first-year first-semester work.” The other said “Yeah, I kept staring at the capitalized “Dinner Reception”. I don’t think reception should’ve been capitalized, but I’m not the world’s best writer either. ”
Only one of the comments favored the graphic designer. The comment said that the bride got what she deserved. If you are not paying your graphic designer friend for the skills then this is what you get.
Two friends just ended their friendship over an invitation card that lacked graphics. Make sure to not follow the suit.
