Aima Baig at PSL 8 squirmed Twitteratis

Twitter had a fun day when Aima Baig sang the National Anthem for PSL 8

Every year, Pakistanis look forward to the Pakistan Super League. It delivers a powerful entertainment punch, with everyone’s favourite players giving their all on the field and plenty of drama and fun off the field.  This Year PSL 8 had Aima Baig crooning National Anthem that left Twitter in stitches. Aima Baig’s national anthem PSL 8 performance was a little cringe specially her ‘tarjuman mazi shan-e- “HAAAL” was a little too moovvy for us.

Her octaves didn’t hit right with the people and we really think she should not practice her ‘music experiments’ with the national anthem. Aima Baig has always been a major part of PSL entertainment side. This time, it made us wonder what the organizers were thinking when they asked her to sing the National Anthem.

The PSL opening ceremony is usually a topic of discussion among the fans, and who is performing and how the fireworks will be is something we look forward to all year. Aima Baig sang the National Anthem in her trademark flair this year.

This, however, didn’t set very well with the Twitteratis as well and she was trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons.
