Adnan Siddiqui was invited to a unique event in Karachi; the destruction ceremony of liquor bottles and confiscated goods by the Anti-Narcotics team. The β€œMere Paas Tum Ho” actor shared photos and videos of himself on social media where he is taking part in destroying liquor bottles and burning narcotics.

The videos show Adnan Siddiqui throwing away liquor bottles, discouraging the consumption of alcohol in society. However, netizens couldn’t handle it! While some claim the actor is fake throwing the bottles, others question why was he invited for this purpose in the first place. Nevertheless, the internet was flooded with memes that were simply hilarious. Adnan Siddiqui became the new meme sensation of Pakistan.

All jokes aside, smuggling and illegal business of liquor are quite rampant in Pakistan. Authorities are making efforts to reduce the business of liquor in Pakistan. Netizens also had suggestions for the government about destruction of these bottles. Some said that instead of throwing smuggled liquor bottles the government should sell them to those who are allowed to utilize liquor. While others said that instead of throwing the bottles and crushing them the government should come up with other ways to dispose of the bottles or recycle them.

Although Adnan Siddiqui received a lot of backlash for his role in breaking the bottles, at the same time his act was praised by a large number of social media users. All we can say is that this time the actor’s name started to trend for all the wrong reasons!
