X Could Charge Users A Small Monthly Payment

After getting X, which was previously known as Twitter, Elon Musk has made multiple major changes in the social media platform. The tech tycoon bought the social media platform for a whopping $ 44 Billion in last October.

Musk has introduced a paid premium option, he fired thousands of employs, cut content moderation and restored formally banned accounts, including the account of former U.S President Donald Trump.

According to figures X has lost roughly half of its advertising revenue. Bots- accounts run by computer programs are more then accounts run by humans. These bot- accounts are a source of spreading political messages and racial discrimination agendas.

On Monday in a discussion with Elon Musk, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu raised the concern of bot- accounts spreading anti- Semitism and how X will prevent from bot- accounts.

On this Elon Musk replied that the company is planning to implement a monthly fee for users for using X system. He said this is the only way he can control bot- accounts.

Musk further added that bots cost only a few cents, like tenth of one cent and by imposing a few dollars of monthly fee it’ll be a high amount for bot- accounts to generate automated messages. This can control a lot of political and racial hatred messages and campaigns.

The Tesla tycoon has been on tip of lots of controversies as he is never shy of making debatable statements.
