The next Fast and Furious finale, “Fast X,” may be the first in a trilogy, according to Vin Diesel. Diesel claimed that the studio initially requested if the movie could be split into two parts, but after seeing the first one, they asked if it could be a trilogy during a press conference in Rome prior to the premiere.

Fans are left to wonder if the Fast and Furious franchise would finish with three films as Diesel was reluctant to confirm the news but was quick to leave the interview.

Many of the franchise’s adored characters, including Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Charlize Theron, and Nathalie Emmanuel, are anticipated to make a comeback in the series’ conclusion. Along with “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa, who will play the latest adversary Dante Reyes, the son of “Fast Five’s” antagonist, “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson and “The Suicide Squad” actress Daniela Melchior will also join the cast.

Diesel has already discussed the finale’s emotional effect on viewers, saying that it will be a suitable farewell to Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner. Walker unfortunately went away when “Fast & Furious 7” was being filmed in 2013, although his character was not yet killed off.

Fans of the franchise will be thrilled to hear that “Fast X” may be the first installment of a trilogy because it will allow them more time to savour the plots and characters they have come to love. Fans will have to wait to find out if “Fast X” will actually be a three-part conclusion to one of the most cherished action film franchises of all time until an official announcement is made.
