While playing in the U-19, he realized that his dream of representing his country internationally could come true, so when he joined the pre-season training camp at National Cricket Academy NCA, he said, ‘I have played a good number of white-ball matches and just five tests. Therefore, I need to improve my bowling and batting to cement my place in test cricket too, as a useful all-rounder.’
‘It has been an incredible journey so far. From making my international debut against the West Indies to becoming a member of the Champions Trophy-winning squad has been a wonderful experience, and all I can do is thank the almighty for his blessings.
