On Wednesday, Samsung announced that it will conduct its next Samsung unpacked 2023 event in the city of Seoul in South Korea in the month of July. The South Korean big tournament organizer has verified that the competition will take place in the month of July. Nevertheless, the exact date has not been established as of yet. Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will probably make their debut at Samsung Unpacked 2023 since this event is expected to serve as their launch platform.
The Unpacked has traditionally served as Samsung’s premier event, during which the company would often introduce new mobile devices as well as other types of equipment. In the past, events of this kind have been organized in major cities all over the world. Unpacked will be hosted in its native nation of South Korea for the very first time this year, marking a significant milestone for the event.
Samsung hasn’t said much about what’s coming next, but it’s possible that the company will show off two new folding phones. Both the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 have been talked about for months. They will replace the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, which have both been well accepted by customers. Expect only small changes to the next-generation hardware, but reports say that the smaller Flip 5 might get a new look. The new unpacked show of Samsung will take place in July.

Samsung has been the leader when it comes to smartphones that can be folded. Every year, the tech giant has put out new folding phones, but only in the high-end market. International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that by 2023, the number of foldable phones shipped around the world, including both flip and fold phones, will hit 21,4 million pieces. In the market for folding phones, Samsung has to deal with tough competition from Chinese phone makers. The next big thing from OnePlus could be a folding phone.
