The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have agreed on where the World Cup game between India and Pakistan will take place. Dainik Jagran says that Pakistan has now decided to play their biggest foes at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.

At first, Pakistan was worried about playing in Ahmedabad because of security worries. But the BCCI and PCB were able to come to an agreement after negotiating. After the BCCI agreed to accept the PCB’s suggested mixed model for the Asia Cup, this choice was made.

The PCB mixed plan calls for the first four matches of the group stage of the first part of the event to be played in Lahore, Pakistan. Sri Lanka will host the next stage, which will include games with India and the finals. This agreement makes it possible for both countries to hold matches and takes care of Pakistan’s security worries.

The PCB had said before that if their mixed plan wasn’t accepted, they would skip the Asia Cup and then the ODI World Cup in India. To address these worries, members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), including Chairman Greg Barclay and CEO Geoff Allardice, went to Lahore and met with PCB leaders to get a promise that the Pakistan team would go to India for the 2023 World Cup.

Because of this promise, the BCCI chose to accept the PCB’s suggested mixed model and hold the World Cup match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad. This game is very important because it will be the first time since 2016 that two enemy countries will play on Indian land.

The BCCI chose Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium as the location for this high-stakes game because they expect a lot of fans from other countries to come to India for the event. The Narendra Modi ground can hold up to 100,000 people, making it the biggest cricket ground in the country.

The World Cup plan has already been sent to the ICC by the BCCI. It is likely to be made public on Wednesday. Cricket fans all over the world are looking forward to this big match between India and Pakistan, which is sure to be an exciting match that shows how much India and Pakistan hate each other.
