Pakistan To Host Eighth International Satellite Squash Event

This year, Pakistan has hosted many sports events. Besides cricket, there are many other sports too, but those sports are not that highlighted. Because of not getting enough popularity, these sports have lost their importance. Moreover, even if events other than cricket are being organized, people don’t give them much importance, affecting the overall progress of these sports. Nevertheless, Pakistan is set to make other sports the main highlights as well. Because the news is that Pakistan is all geared up to host the eighth international satellite squash event.

What is the Satellite Squash event?

The promoters are presented with a chance of a lifetime in the shape of an ‘entry-level’ tournament. The Satellite tournaments are less costly to run and register. The cost of registration is $100 and the prize money for players is $1,000. The duration of such a tournament could vary. It could go over for a week or could just run over a weekend. The best thing about satellite squash events is that it helps the registered players of the Professional Squash Association to win rankings that could help them start their careers. These tournaments also provide the squash clubs a platform that would help them promote their players at different squash tournaments with extra rankings earned in this event.

Pakistan Day Satellite Squash Championship

Squash fans who are yet not aware of the international satellite squash events tou excited honay ka time agaya hai. As Pakistan is all set to host the eighth international satellite squash event.

Yes! the championship is to take place in Karachi from 23rd to 26th March 2022. 23rd March is already a day of celebration for Pakistanis and now the opening of the squash championship on that day would be like a cherry on the top.

The last date of registration is March 18th, 2022. So, the players who still have not registered must not waste any more time. It’s a golden opportunity to add good rankings to your portfolio. In a satellite squash tournament, there is a minimum of 16 draws, but in this tournament, there will be 32 draws. Local promoters should try their best to get into the championship.

We are equally excited about the upcoming squash championship. This will also help in reviving squash in Pakistan, which was once considered one of the most popular sports in the country.
