Pakistan – the land of beautiful people and monumental buildings

Pakistan, the country we fought for in 1947, is rich in people and culture. There is diversity in this country. Pakistan is enriched with history, art, and traditions.

Azadi ki is aas mein jo baha tha khoon,

Is matti mein basti hai saari woh dastaan,

Ger jou na hotay azaad hum,

Janey hotay kis haal main hum.

Do you ever just sit down and wonder, what is Pakistan?

Pakistan, the country we fought for in 1947, is rich in people and culture. There is diversity in this country. Pakistan is enriched with history, art, and traditions. Good and Bad are relative terms, and one cannot exist without the other. The concept of Yin and Yang states that, however, we must realize that with all the terrible things that happen, good things are happening too.

If we go down memory lane and talk about the great historical value of this country, we will be amazed to see all the things we have. You could read a poem by any one of the great poets we have and see just how deep and heartfelt it actually is.

We really have to visit the interior sides of all the provinces. We will find ourselves falling in love with this country and the people all over again. You can listen to our folk music and feel touched to the core.

Everything about Pakistan speaks a story. Be it our people or the buildings we have. If anyone were to go to the interior of Pakistan, they would be mesmerized by the architecture and the elegance with which the people build those homes.

We have monumental things in the country that people from all over the world want to come and see. The Balochistan Sphinx is just one example. We also have Faisal Masjid, Badshahi Masjid, Mazar-e-Quaid, and many more buildings with a story to tell.

In this country, every person has a story to tell, each different in its own way. People here have dreams and aspirations, but they all represent this motherland to the international world.

Pakistan is a land rich in everything. We witness the four seasons all year round and get to enjoy them. We have the Arabian Sea and the Gwadar Port in the South of Pakistan. On the Northern side, we have some fantastic sights to see. We have K2, the second-highest mountain globally, and Nanga Parbat – one of the most challenging sites for trekking. In Eastern Pakistan, we have the historical value of the civilization of the Indus Valley. In Western Pakistan, we have desserts.

On the other side, Pakistan blossoms every day. The people of this beautiful country wake up every day and work hard to create a masterpiece that the world will forever remember. And not only this, we excel in other sports as well.

Pakistanis want to do good and make the country proud. Some notable names are Professor Abdus Salam, Malala Yousafzai, Arfa Karim, Imran Khan, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Benazir Bhutto, and many others.

In the end, all we can say is Kuch Nahi, Agar Kuch Kahin Kam hai, Kyun Ki Pakistan Hai to Hum Hain. We vow to spend every minute trying to earn the land that we were born in and to do everything in our power to make our country proud.

Na hota yeh watan tou jatay kahan hum,

Bhatkay huay gumm hotey kisi kinaray hum.

Jo hain aaj yeh khulay asman kay neechay hum,

Sar kartay hain fakhar sey buland Pakistani hum.
