In the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match in Colombo on Monday, India beat Pakistan by 228 runs.
This is the most runs India has ever won by against Pakistan in an ODI. It was also Pakistan’s third-worst loss in ODIs against any team.
With 357 runs to get, Pakistan could only get to 128-8 in 32 overs because Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf were hurt and couldn’t play.
India’s best bowler was Kuldeep Yadav, who used his spin to get 5-25 in eight overs.
Pakistan’s bowling wasn’t very good. Fakhar Zaman got 27 runs in 50 balls, which was the most.
Iftikhar Ahmed and Agha Salman both got 23 runs.
Pakistan’s best batsman and leader, Babar Azam, got 10 runs in 24 balls before Hardik Pandya bowled him with a beautiful ball.
Earlier, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both got centuries, which helped India set a huge goal of 357 runs for Pakistan on Monday in Colombo for the Asia Cup 2023.
During the Asia Cup 2023, the match between Pakistan and India started after a rain delay. But India took control of the game as soon as the players took the pitch.
India finished their 50 overs with a score of 356-2, and Pakistan didn’t lose a wicket on the spare day.
With nine fours and three sixes, Kohli made 122 runs in 94 balls and didn’t get out.

Rahul, on the other hand, was still not out after making 111 runs in 106 balls, 14 of which were fours.

As a safeguard, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf was taken out of today’s match between India and Pakistan. During the games, he only threw five overs.
“As a precaution, Haris Rauf will not bowl any more in the Asia Cup Super 4 match against India.” The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a short statement that he felt a little pain in his right side during yesterday’s match.
“After that, he was given a precautionary MRI, which showed that there was no tear. He is being watched by the team’s medical staff,” it said.
Yesterday, the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match was cancelled because it kept raining.
India must be reminded that Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first.
When the game was stopped on Sunday because of rain, India had scored 147 runs in 24.1 overs. Based on the rules, the game kept going from this point on the backup day without losing any overs.
