In a recent episode of the famous TV show Mazaq Raat, the actor Hira Mani took the spotlight and had an honest and hilarious conversation with the show’s host Imran Ashraf and a group of comedians. The chat went in surprising directions, like Hira’s thoughts on her own marriage to Salman Saquib Sheikh, who everyone calls “Mani.”
When one of the comedians asked Hira a very interesting question, the evening’s small talk took a funny turn. He asked Hira Mani if she would have kept working in the show business if she hadn’t married Mani. Without missing a beat, the star gave an answer that left everyone in the room speechless.
“If I hadn’t married Mani, I would have been married 5 or 6 times,” Hira Mani joked, causing everyone to look at her with surprise. She went on to say, “Because I was kind of a “dil phenk” girl.” When asked what she meant by that, she said, “When I met Mani, he was my choice.” This made people laugh and look at her funny. I would have liked [every other guy] if I hadn’t met him.”
Not wanting to be beaten, one of the comics joked in Punjabi about how Mani could be seen as a hindrance to Hira’s success. Hira Mani made a funny comeback by saying, “I’ve become too successful. Look, I’m a star now! But yes, I would have been married more than once if I hadn’t been Mani’s wife.”

As the jokes kept coming, a comic joked that maybe Hira should have met Mani a little later in life. Hira replied in her usual funny way, “I still wouldn’t have married you,” which made everyone in the room laugh out loud.
