The goal of the game Connections is to put 16 words or lines into four different groups of four. The New York Times says that the new puzzle game came out in June and is already the second most-played game.
After Wordle became popular and everyone started looking forward to its daily puzzle, this interesting game started out as a web-based puzzle. Connections is now available on the iOS and Android apps for The New York Times and New York Times Games.
“Every day brings a clever, thought-out, relevant, human-made puzzle that tries to trick you, and the challenge of solving it is very rewarding,” said Jonathan Knight, who is in charge of games at the New York Times.
Like Worlde, you get one game every day, but it is much harder than most people think it will be. The game is easy to play and move around in because it has a simple design. The Times says that nine out of ten people who play the game Connections will see it through to the end, no matter what the outcome is.
At the start of the game, players are given a list of words that need to be put into four groups based on how similar they are.
