The trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is out and the movie is set to be released on April 15, 2022. David Yates is the director for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. He has also directed previous Fantastic Beasts movies and the last four Harry Potter movies.
Harry Potter’s authors J.K. Rowling, and Steve Kloves, have written the screenplay together. They are also producers on Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore alongside David Heyman, Lionel Wigram, and Tim Lewis.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the third movie in the franchise and serves as a prequel for the Harry Potter Series. The trailer promises to uncover secrets from the Harry Potter world. It is set in the 1930s, several years after the events of the second movie. Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Mads Mikkelsen, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, and William Nadylam star in the movie. Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald is also debuting in the film.
Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and others team up with Dumbledore to follow a new mission taking them to Hogwarts. This will take them into the heart of Gellert Grindelwald’s (Mads Mikkelsen) army. They will get involved in a heist. They might encounter new beasts and learn more about the relationship between Dumbledore and the villainous Gellert Grindelwald.
The hardcore Harry Potter fans know how important this movie is for them. The last book, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows had a chapter dedicated to the life of Professor Dumbledore before he was known as we know him today.
The chapter gave us an insight into Professor’s personal life and his family. We learned that he, too, had made his mistakes in his life and had spent his older years trying to rectify them. Furthermore, we learned how he managed to get a hold of the Elder wand.
Unfortunately, only a few small snippets of his life could be covered in that chapter. With this latest movie, we all can’t help but be very excited to see how it unfolds and how the younger Professor Dumbledore tries to battle and manage his own demons.
