Eva B the Hijabi Rapper has done wonders with her voice. Her debut in the coke studio made her viral and known to every Pakistani household. Recently, she got featured in Ms. Marvel along with Hasan Rahim and Justin Bibis’s Peechay Hutt.
Ms. Marvel is the story of a Muslim teenager in a Desi household who is just like us. She is living her dream and dealing with life at home. The South Asian touch has made it more relatable. The series is produced by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi, and Bilall Fallah.
Pakistani actors Samina Ahmed, Nimra Bucha, Fawad Khan, and Mehwish Hayat are also part of the series. The first episode also has the beautiful Ahmed Rushdi’s KoKo Korina and Naheed Akhtar’s Sohniye I Love You. The Indian American musician Gingger Shankar has composed the song Rozi.
Eva B is a symbol of determination and courage. As they say, when there is a will, there is a way. She did what she dreamt of. We are proud of her for representing Pakistan.
