Mufti Menk said he visited Pakistan with just one goal in mind: to reach out by providing some relief and raising more awareness about the misery of the millions who have been affected by the tragic floods. He shared videos of flood victims and the swamped areas on his Instagram account.
He joined the Air force in 1956 and was posted in Sargodha during the 1965 war. He was one of the best and the finest fighter pilot in the history of the Pakistan Air force. His name is listed in the Hall of Fame in PAF Museum Karachi.

On the 75th Independence Day, the President of Pakistan conferred 253 Civil Awards to the citizens and foreign nationals who have contributed to the betterment of Pakistan. These awards are an acknowledgement for showing excellence and courage towards the causes.

The day is initiated with the hoisting of the flag both publicly and in private institutions followed by speeches being delivered by the President and Prime minister in order to commemorate the sacrifices made by the Muslims led by Quaid e Azam to fight off the British Rule.
