Farooq Rind, who previously collaborated with Bilal Abbas Khan on the critically acclaimed drama Sadqay Tumhare, will direct the drama. Khan included his co-star, Durefishan Saleem, in the post and tagged her, implying that the drama will feature her prominently.

Saleem recently appeared in the television shows Pardes, Hangor S-131, Juda Huway Kuch Is Tarhan, and Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi. She additionally participated in a song video with Asim Azhar.
