Annural Khalid, a rising star in the Pakistani music industry, is the most recent performer to be featured on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York City.
Khalid has been named the EQUAL Pakistan Ambassador for Spotify in July. She attained this position through a number of catchy tracks.
Trust Issues, a poignant song by the young starlet, was included on the EQUAL Pakistan playlist on the music streaming platform.
After hearing that she had been selected as the Ambassador for July, she said, “I’m so stoked to be Spotify Pakistan’s EQUAL artist for July.”
“Spotify has changed the game for musicians and Spotify EQUAL has to be the coolest initiative in my opinion. Never thought we’d one day have a platform representing solely women in music, especially in Pakistan. It makes you hopeful while being a female musician for the future of music in this region,” she expressed.
Annural Khalid tries out many genres while serving out pop and R&B songs. While she already has a discography with songs like Kehdena, Mujhe Leh Chal, Dil de Bol, Pretty Lies, and Sohneya Ve for the general public to enjoy, the self-described hardcore Rihanna fan is presently working on her album.
