This year, there will be six Pakistani players in The Hundred competition.
Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf will play for Welsh Fire, and Usama Mir and Zaman Khan will be on the Manchester Originals team.
Shadab Khan, an all-rounder, will play for Birmingham Phoenix, and Ihsanullah, a young fast bowler, will play for Oval Invincibles.
All of them will be playing for the first time in the event, which is in its third year and starts at Nottingham’s Trent Bridge on Tuesday, August 1.
On the first day, both the men’s and women’s teams of the Trent Rockets will play against the Southern Braves in a doubleheader.
The current men’s champion is the Trent Rockets team, while the first men’s title was the Southern Braves.
In the women’s matches, Oval Invincibles were the winners both times.
The event will last for 4 weeks and have a total of 24 matches. This year, the qualifying match will be held at The Oval in London instead of the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. On August 27, the final will be held at The Lords.

During the second version of The Hundred in 2022, more than half a million people went to the games, including a record number of 271,000 women.
Fast bowler with a left arm Shaheen will be the most important bowler for Welsh Fire in this year’s The Hundred.
The 22-year-old player, who has twice led Lahore Qalandars to win in the PSL, was picked up by Welsh Fire for £100,000 in the players draught.
Shaheen recently played for Nottinghamshire Outlaws in the T20 Blast. In 14 games, he took 22 catches.
In his last game for the Outlaws, he got four wickets in the first over against the Birmingham Bears, which set a new world record.
Shaheen was signed by Birmingham Phoenix for the first season of The Hundred, but he didn’t play because he needed to be with the national team.
Haris, an experienced fast bowler, will join the Welsh Fire team. The two fast bowlers, who have played together on the national team and with Lahore Qalandars, are about to make their first appearance in The Hundred event.
Haris was taken by Welsh Fire when he was worth £60,000. The pacer is one of the quickest bowlers in Pakistan and the world as a whole. He has taken more than 220 wickets in T20 cricket, including 83 wickets in international games.
The leg-spinner who can do everything Shadab is the second player from Pakistan to be chosen for the £100,000 group.

Ihsanullah was picked up by Oval Invincibes for £40,000 during the players’ draught. He and Haris are the two quickest bowlers in Pakistan right now.
Ihsanullah, who is from Matta, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, wowed everyone during the PSL earlier this year with his speed and accuracy when he threw yorkers.
Because of his great play for Multan Sultans in the PSL, he was asked to join the national team first for T20Is and then for ODIs as well.
This year, Usama Mir Mir is going to play for Manchester Original in The Hundred.
The leg spinner is now seen as a solid all-rounder because of how hard he hits at the bottom of the batting order. He has been in great form for Worcestershire Rapids in the T20 Blast.
He was only supposed to play for Rapids in the first three games of the Blast tournament, but he did so well in those games that Worcestershire ended up taking him for the rest of the tournament.
Mir played in 11 games during the blast. He took 19 wickets and gave up only 7.89 runs per over, which is an excellent strike rate.
Mir has played in six ODIs for Pakistan so far. He made his first appearance for Pakistan earlier this year.
He has also played for Karachi Kings and, most recently, Multan Sultans in the PSL. He was the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the PSL this year, and he was a big reason why Multan Sultans made it to the final.
