When 2021 started, most people had no idea what an NFTs was. But now, as this year is coming to an end, almost everyone is looking at the different kinds of NFT’s being sold every day. For those who still do not know, NFT’s are Non-Fungible Tokens. They are the recent addition to Cryptocurrency and are one of a kind.
NFT’s are certificates that are linked to the digital blockchains, which enables them to remain unique. They cannot be shared, copied, divided and are a digital art form. Because of their uniqueness, NFT’s are being sold in cryptocurrency and they do amount up to millions of dollars in the world.
Here we have compiled a list of the top 5 most expensive sold NFT’s:
Everydays – the first 5000 days sold for $69.3 million:

Crossroads by Beeple sold for $6.66 million:
This NFT from the digital artist Beeple was sold for ETH worth $6.66 million and made a political statement. The artist wanted to make fun of former President Donald Trump’s defeat. On the contrary, if Trump had won, the artist would have shown a crown on Trump’s face instead of making him look like a clown.
People are claiming that NFTs are the new art forms. They have certainly managed to shake the way we used to view art. If recent predictions are correct, then, in the next 5 years, NFTs will become bigger than the iconic Mona Lisa.
