Disney+ series Ms. Marvel is the buzzword right now. With the series, headlined by Pakistani-Canadian actor Iman Vellani, Marvel Cinematic Universe gets its first Muslim character. Ms Marvel is path-breaking for several reasons, apart from being inclusive. What’s more? The Disney+ series will see Fawad Khan and Farhan Akhtar making their MCU debut.
Although both are to be seen in supporting roles and have been hinted to have guest appearances on the show, both the heartthrobs have fans anticipating to watch them. However, Bollywood director-actor Farhan Akhtar’s role, which has been a well-kept secret for a while now, has finally been revealed in the teaser of the show’s fourth episode. The clip, shared online by Disney and Marvel’s social media accounts, features Farhan as Waleed.
“My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother’s story is of legend. When you’re ready, we have much to discuss.”
Sharing the video, the official Instagram page of Disney+Hotstar said in the caption: “Hume bohot kuch kehna hai aur aapko bohot kuch dekhna hai (We have a lot to tell you and show you).”
While the surprising role of Farhan Akhtar has been revealed, Fawad Khan is still behind the curtains. Producer and writer Sana had already hinted at Fawad Khan’s entry saying she herself is a big fan of the actor and can’t wait for the viewers to see him and gush at their screens. Ever since Fawad Khan has been announced to be a part of Ms. Marvel, everyone has been waiting for his arrival.
