The BBC has released the video of World on Fire Season 2, which also stars Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir. In the show, Ahad plays Rajib, the leader of a specialist unit of the British Indian Army during World War II. Rajib is brave and driven.
He welcomes someone into the British Indian Army, and in the next shot, he is seen avoiding shots and bombs. The trailer is only 41 seconds long, and Ahad is in it. Even though he is a minor figure, this makes his part important. Ahad will be on the show with Lesley Manville (who plays Robina), Jonah Hauer-King (who plays Harry), Julia Brown (who plays Lois), and Zofia Wichlacz (who plays Kasia).
Mark Bonnar, who will play the mysterious Sir James Danemere, Gregg Sulkin, who will play a brave but risky RAF pilot, and Miriam Schiweck, who will play a German girl in the Band of German Maidens, are also new to the show this season.
World on Fire is a thrilling trip through World War II. It looks at the terrible things that happened in Britain, France, Germany, and India. The upcoming second season looks like it will go deeper into the war by adding new storylines that show how people from different countries have been strong and made sacrifices.
