The Most Anticipated Movies Of The Year 2022

With the start of the new year, all the movie fanatics worldwide are anxiously awaiting the release of their favorite movies. Since the pandemic hit, the cinema culture was slowly fading – but now, as we have already seen with the release of Spiderman: No Way Home, people want nothing but to cheer for their favorite actors and actresses sitting in front of the multiplex.  So, we decided to compile a list of the most anticipated movies of the year 2022. Here is a list:

1. Batman (March)

Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson is expected to hit the cinemas in March, and fans are already going crazy over it. This film’s adaptation is allegedly very dark and different from the previous Batman installments we have seen. We also get to see the chemistry between the Bat and the Cat! Yay!

2. Fantastic Beasts and the secret of Dumbledore (April)

This is for all those Harry Potter fans – and when we say fans, we mean the ones who have read the books and know of all the scenes that were not shown in the movies. This movie is supposed to release in April. However, for those of you who have not read the books; (Our Neemos take this as an offense because they still wait for their Hogwarts acceptance letter and already know which house they will belong to and what position they will play at, in Quidditch) would like to tell you that Fantastic Beasts and the secrets of Dumbledore was introduced in the last book. This movie will highlight the youth of Professor Dumbledore.

3. Doctor Strange (May)

Marvel Cinematic Universe is on a roll right now. With the release of Doctor Strange in May, fans are rolling on the floor, wishing it to be May already. With the build-up of the Multiverse, we are sure this new movie will smash the records of the previous MCU movie Spiderman – No Way Home!

4. Jurassic World: Dominion (June)

Jurassic World: Dominion, expected to release in June, is the third movie in the franchise. There is not a lot known about the movie, but we can tell you that the film is set four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

5. Thor: Love and Thunder (July)

Thor: Love and Thunder, expected to release in July, is a continuation of the adventures of Thor. But the best thing about this movie is that Christian Bale is also joining the cast as Gorr the God Butcher, and we can’t wait!

6. Mission Impossible 7 (September)

Tom Cruise does not age, and until he does, we will continue to see Mission Impossible. The 7^th installment is supposed to be released in September, and we just know already that it will be amazing. Taking a gander from Mission Impossible 6, we know Ethan Hunt will continue his habit of learning new things, which mundane humans can’t do, like learning how to fly a helicopter while fighting an archnemesis. We are all very excited about this movie.

7. Spider-man: Across the spider verse – Animated Part One (October)

There can never be too much of Spider-man, and this is why we are so excited about the upcoming Spider-man: Across the spider verse – part one, expected to release in October. This is an animated superhero featuring the superhero Miles Morale. We will have to wait for more details.

8. Wakanda Forever (November)

As Chadwick Boseman says, ‘Wakanda Forever,’ the movie with the same name, will be released in November. Obviously, fans are waiting for this movie but are also still sad about Chad. In this movie, there are two possibilities that we have guessed from the MCU series What If.

• One: Kilmonger might be the new Black Panther
• Two: Shuri might be the new Black Panther (This seems like a more plausible possibility)

But we will have to wait till November to know more.

9. The Flash (November)

We got to see Ezra Miller in Justice League and fell instantly in love with this Flash. Over the years, there have been many adaptations of the superhero Flash. Still, there are rumors that the Flash movie releasing in November will change many things in the DCEU.

10. Avatar 2  (December)

Avatar 2 will hit cinemas in December following the movie Avatar, as its sequel. Jake Sully and Ney’tiri are the main characters. While they have formed a family – the conspiracy to separate them still lives. They must also travel through the continent of Pandora to explore and find better ways of survival. The movie certainly looks very interesting.

11. Pakistani movies this year

Now that cinemas in Pakistan have opened, Pakistani Filmmakers are pretty pumped about releasing their movies. Here is a list of the Pakistani film expected to release this year:

1. Zindagi Tamasha
2. The Legend of Maula Jutt
3. Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad
4. Ghabrana Nahi Hai
5. Umro-Ayyar
