Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film Jawan is making all the headlines in the showbiz world. The film broke all the records of Hindi Film Industry. Jawan has made a collection of more than INR 600 crores worldwide only in the sixth day of its release. The movie was released on 7th September 2023 in cinemas around the globe. Jawan was initially scheduled to be released on June 2nd but due to some delays in the post-production phase the film release got postponed and eventually it was released last week. Jawan is the third movie in this calendar year which has done a business of more than INR 300 crores. Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role was already a USP of this particular movie, but other than this the other cast, story, plot, music and cinematography took this movie to another level.
Jawan did business of INR 81 crores at first day of its release which itself is a record. The previous record was held withy Pathan, another King Khan starrer film which had a business of almost INR 70 crores at day 1.
Jawan is Hindi language, the film is co-written and directed by Atlee, this is Atlee’s first Bollywood film as a director. Jawan is an action thriller film. Film is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan is in the leading role who is playing double role in father and son character, Shah Rukh is accompanied by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Senya Malhotra in important roles. Deepika Padukone is also billed in a special appearance in the film.
The most important characters after Shah Rukh Khan belong to Tamil Film Industry. In last few years the Indian audiences have given a lot of love and business to South Indian Films. The South Indian influence can be heavily observed in this film. Jawan is director by a director from South. Actors like Vijay and Nayanthara are also from Tollywood. On top of that the film also has a Tamil version. Few scenes were reshot after the film had completed, specuially for the Tamil version.
