The Saudi Ambassador, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, met the Board of Investment leadership. They discussed trade potential between the countries and tap opportunities, which could enhance bilateral relations.
He said that there is huge investment potential. There have been positive developments in bilateral trade relations. There would be substantial economic cooperation between both countries.

Just a few days back, Fatima Group entered a joint venture with Saudi Arabia’s Sarh Attaqnia Co. and China Machinery Engineering Company. These companies have their expertise in the ‘development of agricultural value chain, export marketing, adoption of climate-smart precision agricultural practices and production of enhanced high-yield seeds.’ This will help in increasing the Agricultural yield for domestic use and exports.

Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, Chairman BOI, said that there are a lot of investment opportunities available in Pakistan. The resources are still to be explored in the economic sectors. The priority sectors have been incentivized. He said that BOI is committed to ‘facilitating and encouraging investment in Pakistan.’ Pakistan and Saudi trade relations are moving positively. The board is looking forward facilitate the Saudi investors in the country.
