One of the best means of contributing to society is through charity. In Islam, charity is emphasized and given great importance to helping others who are underprivileged. It also helps to realize that it is possible for all the people with privileges to share their blessings with others in times of chaos and uncertainty. It gives deeper meaning to life and fulfills the purpose of being a responsible citizen and above all human being. Quick Action Foundation has been adding value to the lives of people by becoming an essential part of their lives. They have been an inspiration for the community by giving back to the community in the form of charity.
Quick Action Foundation
It was founded by Ms. Roohi Zahir Shah and Max Shaw in 2005. It is a non-profitable and governmental organization under the umbrella of its sister organization Unity LSS. Their formal operations began in 2011 under the Companies Ordinance 1984. They are committed ‘ to improving the lives, reconstruct, rehabilitating, educating, and overall strengthening the economic and human capacity of the vulnerable persons not just to turn self-reliant but become useful for the country.’ They specialize mainly in the effective management of the supply chain for the delivery of key supplies. They also play an important role in construction and infrastructure development. The targets are usually rural areas, katchi Abadi, etc.
Aim
Quick Action Foundation has always aimed to bring hope to Orphans. They have been providing food, medical care, education, children’s toys, and gifts. Their main aim is to remove dependency and make the individual a responsible, productive, and respectable member of society. So that they do not have to depend on others for livelihood.
Work in different Sectors
They are not confined to a single sector or project. They have extended their work beyond geographic domains. They have worked closely with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to prevent dengue.

They have been part of many activities across the country. Some of them are as follows:
- Medical Camp at Landi Arbab, Peshawar
- Celebrated World Cancer Day at Shaukat Khanum (SKM) Lahore
- Eid Gift Distribution Event at SOS Village, Islamabad in collaboration with UAE Red Crescent
- Quick Action Foundation IN SOS village
