After beating Japan on Monday, Pakistan earned a spot in the semifinals of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023, which is going on right now.
Pakistan beat Japan by a score of 3-2 to move on to the next round of the event in Oman.
In the match in Salalah, Abdul Wahab scored two goals for Pakistan, and Arbaaz Ahmed scored one.
But Japan took the lead when Kompi Yoshida scored on a penalty corner in the second minute of the game.

On May 31, Pakistan will play Malaysia in hockey asia cup for a spot in the final.
With the win, Pakistan also qualified for the Junior Hockey World Cup, which will be held this year in Malaysia.
