Pakistan is all set to host the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers 48th session on 22 and 23rd March 2022. It is an honor for Pakistan to host the meeting for the second time in just a few months. Therefore, to show solidarity and unity Pakistan has launched OIC’s new anthem with the same vibes.
What is OIC Conference?
OIC stands for Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Council which is the second-largest intergovernmental organization after the UN. 57 states are a member of OIC, Pakistan being one of them. Pakistan joined the OIC in 1969. And now Pakistan is hosting the OIC conference. Moreover, the date of the 48th session coincides with Pakistan’s Day i.e., 23rd March 2022. So, the ministers of the attendees will be attending the Pakistan Day parade too. That’s why it attaches more importance to the fact that Pakistan is hosting the event. Therefore, Pakistan is making all the efforts to make this conference another success and achieve the collective goal set that more than 50 countries have in mind i.e., unity and development of the Muslim world.

OIC New Anthem
As the event is considered a top priority, therefore, the arrangements are being made accordingly. The new OIC Anthem shows how invested Pakistan is to make this meeting a success.
The new anthem ‘Hum Mustafavi Hain’ sung by Ali Zafar is reaching the hearts of many around the world. The song was originally written by Jamiluddin Aali and sung by Mehdi Zaheer in 1974 at the event of the 2nd Islamic Summit Conference in Lahore. The song is released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The foreign office upon the launch of this song said “The song is a tribute to Pakistan’s strong commitment and affiliation with OIC and the Muslim Ummah.” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, “It has the same old theme, lyrics, and composition.”
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, the Information Minister is of the opinion that the anthem strongly resonates with the Quranic verses. Regarding the theme of the anthem, he said it “hold firmly to the rope of Allah and do not be divided.”
Sab Ki Zuban Per, Sab Ke Dilon Main
Sab Ki Zuban Per, Sab Ke Dilon Main
Ik Nara-e-Qurani
Just the right kind of anthem that was needed for this prestigious event. The lyrics, voice, and videography are all strongly voicing the message of the Muslim world. It gives off the feelings of integrity, unity, peace, and Oneness of Allah Almighty.
We hope this conference brings fruitful results for the entire Muslim community in specific and the world in general.
