The announcement for the film’s extended cut release was shared by Sony on Twitter along with a video featuring Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, who introduced themselves as Spider-Men in the video.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is Watts’ third installment of the franchise, with actors Tom Holland and Zendaya reprising their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and MJ, respectively. Spider-Man’s identity was revealed in this film and fans thought this was the last of the series. But Marvel Cinematics said Wait, There’s more!
The “More Fun Stuff” version of the film will give audiences a bigger peek at all the behind-the-scenes moments between Tom, Tobey, and Andrew, who shot the film’s most iconic sequences together.
The film cemented its place as the sixth-highest grossing movie of all time worldwide. The extended version of the blockbuster is set to return to cinema screens in the United States and Canada on Friday, September 2, with tickets going up on sale starting August 9.
