Mehwish Hayat And Fawad Khan Make Their Entry In Ms Marvel

Fawad Khan and Mahwish Hayat finally made a grand entry in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s series Ms Marvel and the Internet’s verdict is that it’s been worth the wait. The episode 5 MCU’s Ms Marvel took the viewers back to the events of the Partition through Fawad Khan playing Hasan and Mehwish Hayat playing Aisha, unveil the mystery of Kamala Khan’s power and her family.

The cat is finally out of the bag as Fawad Khan and Mahwish Hayat are seen to play as Kamala’s grandparents. The fifth episode begins with old news clips from the time India got her independence in 1947 and the formation of Pakistan. We are reminded of the riots that the Partition caused and the mass migration it triggered.

While running from someone, Aisha (Mehwish) finds Hasan (Fawad) who is addressing a bunch of people and talking to them about freedom. He says how the people of India, irrespective of religion, want freedom from British rule without riots. Later, Hasan finds Aisha lying on the ground and that’s how they meet.

As Hasan, Fawad Khan gets to show his range, featuring in both romantic scenes with Aisha and in dramatic ones in his role as a freedom fighter. Twitter is all praise for the duo’s chemistry.
