Lets Break The Bias-From the Women of Neemopani

Today is Women’s day–a day dedicated just for women; to appreciate the hard work that they do. But then again, every other day is women’s day just as every day is also men’s day. We are human beings, and thus every day when we wake up and do anything and everything, it needs to be appreciated because life is hard. It can get so hard that we seldom lack the energy to get out of bed, and yet still we do. And it is all because of each other.

Women cannot do all that they do if not for the constant support that most men provide. Yes, some are a little problematic, but then again, most of the population is good. And just like that, men could not do all that they do if not for the women in their lives, supporting them and giving them the strength that they need. Life is a collective effort–and we all need a shoulder to be with us.

It would be better when it is women supporting women. Because yes, they do. Contrary to the popular belief, women support women because there are things that men just cannot understand. It is not because of any fault of their own, but because it is just that way.

So, in honor of women’s day, today we wrote an article and dedicate it to the women of Neemopani who support each other every day. Yes, there are differences, but what matters is that we all come together to support each other and stand by each other.

There are five women in Neemopani, all of whom bring something unique and different to the organization, bringing in a fit a life like never seen before. We won’t name our women, but will write five different qualities that each one of them brings.

1. The elder sister

We all need an elder sister who is always there for us–who supports us and brings us her wisdom and teaches us what is the right thing to do and what is not. We also have that in Neemopani, our elder sister who guides us on the right path with her experience, and we are so happy that she is part of us.

2. The one who always looks out

We all need someone to look out for us–to be there for us. And, we are very happy to have such a person in Neemopani who sees what everyone is doing and knows if someone is going through something only to be there and act as a support system for us in the end. She is someone we can all count on.

3. The quiet helper

Some people do not talk a lot and are introverts, but that is just who they are. And even like that, it does not mean that they bring nothing to the company because they do. They are someone who will always be there to help you and support you in your time of need. They will pick you up when you need them the most.

4. The one who makes everyone laugh

With all the seriousness in life, there should also be that one person who makes everyone laugh–who will take it upon herself to make sure that everyone is happy and having a fun time and it is one of the most important things to have in any organization. We are thankful for that person in our company.

5. The responsible one

Last but not the least, we also have a person who, while moving around a lot and is never to be found in her seat, is still always there to make sure that everything is getting done. The need for such a person is also very important to make sure that someone has the company’s back.

And all of this would not be possible without the men in the company, who have taught most of us these qualities, and also are there, have our backs, and stand by us in the end. It is all of us who make the company what it is, and let us all vouch today to be there for one another, understand each other and support each other.
