Shahid Afridi, the beloved all-rounder and former captain of Pakistan, has said that fans would be able to see him play in the following months as he intends to take part in a number of franchise cricket competitions.
A viewer enquired during a presentation on a private channel as to when the player will next be seen playing.
Afridi said, “Last year, I had an invitation to play in the T10 league, but I was unable to accept it owing to certain personal obligations. I will perform this year if they want me to, inshallah,” he said.
He continued by mentioning that he will be participating in the Sindh Premier League (SPL), a league in America, and the Canada T20 competition.

Afridi recently led the Asian Lions in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament in Qatar. Asian Lions won the competition when he was their coach.
In 2022, the powerful batter made his last appearance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He participated for the league’s Quetta Gladiators. No team chose him this year.
Later, he participated in the Kashmir Premier League (KPL), but due to fitness issues, he was unable to play in all the games.
