Actress Durefishan Saleem disclosed her first significant crush on television, and like many of us, Atif Aslam, the renowned singer-actor, was the cause of her first breakup. Saleem recalls first seeing Aslam when he was a newlywed while fangirling about the Hona Tha Pyar singer.
During a guest appearance on Nida Yasir’s Ramadan show, Saleem was questioned by the host about her very first significant crush. The actress durefishan, who had a gleam in her eyes, echoed Aslam’s name without even a moment’s hesitation. “I had a huge, huge crush on Atif Aslam. It was so significant that I used to listen to him and just speak of him. Even now, my sister claims that even though I never expressed it, it was enormous.
The crush, however, soon became her first heartbreak. “I remember meeting him. The first time I met him was two days after his wedding. And I just kept crying you know, I couldn’t stop crying. How old was I back then? I was very young, probably in O levels. Atif was my first heartbreak and my biggest crush,” she quipped.

Aslam, who got married to Sara Bharwani on March 28, 2013, just celebrated ten years of togetherness. The couple shares two adorable kids together. “My big day has finally arrived with your prayers. Allah has endowed me with a wonderful life partner. I would request all of you to continue praying for us as you have always been doing in the past for me,” the Pehli Nazar singer shared on Facebook after tying the knot.
Atif is well renowned for singing romantic songs. Dil Diyan Gallan, Tu Jaane Na, Aadat, Woh Lamhe, Be Intehaan, and Tere Sang Yaara are just a few of his well-known songs.
