Fans all remember the violent season of Squid Games. In the Korean-produced season, it is a kind of contest in which participants are fretted against each other in a bloody match. What starts off as a promise of big money for playing only childrens’ games, turns out to be a deadly match. Losers are put to death in the most gruesome and violent manner possible. The goal of the participants is to pass all the levels and to earn the end reward money that can make anyone a millionaire. The main protagonist has severe financial problems and he competes against all other people to win it.

Squid Games follows a theme of violence and gore. The participants have to undergo a couple of tournaments which would otherwise be nothing more than playground squabbles. Back when Hunger Games was released, people loved the theme of a bloody game where participants had to fight against each other to survive till the end. Though Squid Games follow a similar theme, they are unique in story and characters.

The film, ‘KO Club’ is expected to enjoy nearly the same level of success as that of Squid Games. The reason is that Squid Games has secured a massive fan base. According to Netflix, nearly 142 million subscribers had watched the show. This number was reported in October 2021. Since this record was set, fans demanded the second series.
